And she said, I flee from the face of my mistress Sarai. #, 01_GEN_18_09  And they said unto him, Where [is] Sarah thy wife? And he said, Behold, in the tent. #, 01_GEN_18_10  And he said, I will certainly return unto thee according to the time of life; and, lo, Sarah thy wife shall have a son. And Sarah heard [it] in the tent door, which [was] behind him. #, 01_GEN_18_15  Then Sarah denied, saying, I laughed not; for she was afraid. And he said, Nay; but thou didst laugh. #, 01_GEN_18_28  Peradventure there shall lack five of the fifty righteous, wilt thou destroy all the city for [lack of] five? And he said, If I find there forty and five, I will not destroy [it]. #, 01_GEN_18_29  And he spake unto him yet again, and said, Peradventure there shall be forty found there. And he said, I will not do [it] for forty's sake. #, 01_GEN_18_30  And he said [unto him], Oh let not the Lord be angry, and I will speak, Peradventure there shall thirty be found there. And he said, I will not do [it], if I find thirty there. #, 01_GEN_18_31  And he said, Behold now, I have taken upon me to speak unto the Lord, Peradventure there shall be twenty found there. And he said, I will not destroy [it] for twenty's sake. #, 01_GEN_18_32  And he said, Oh let not the Lord be angry, and I will speak yet but this once, Peradventure ten shall be found there. And he said, I will not destroy [it] for ten's sake. #, 01_GEN_19_02  And he said, Behold now, my lords, turn in, I pray you, into your servant's house, and tarry all night, and wash your feet, and ye shall rise up early, and go on your ways. And they said, Nay; but we will abide in the street all night. #, 01_GEN_19_21  And he said unto him, See, I have accepted thee concerning this thing also, that I will not overthrow this city, for the which thou hast spoken. #, 01_GEN_20_04  But Abimelech had not come near her, and he said, Lord, wilt thou slay also a righteous nation? #, 01_GEN_21_30  And he said, For [these] seven ewe lambs shalt thou take of my hand, that they may be a witness unto me, that I have digged this well. #, 01_GEN_22_01  And it came to pass after these things, that God did tempt Abraham, and said unto him, Abraham, and he said, Behold, [here] I [am]. #, 01_GEN_22_02  And he said, Take now thy son, thine only [son] Isaac, whom thou lovest, and get thee into the land of Moriah; and offer him there for a burnt offering upon one of the mountains which I will tell thee of. #, 01_GEN_22_07  And Isaac spake unto Abraham his father, and said, My father, and he said, Here [am] I, my son. And they said, We know [him]. #, 01_GEN_29_06  And he said unto them, [Is] he well? And he said, I will not let thee go, except thou bless me. #, 01_GEN_32_27  And he said unto him, What [is] thy name? And he said, Jacob. #, 01_GEN_32_28  And he said, Thy name shall be called no more Jacob, but Israel, for as a prince hast thou power with God and with men, and hast prevailed. #, 01_GEN_32_29  And Jacob asked [him], and said, Tell [me], I pray thee, thy name. And he said, What needeth it? let me find grace in the sight of my lord. #, 01_GEN_37_06  And he said unto them, Hear, I pray you, this dream which I have dreamed, #, 01_GEN_37_13  And Israel said unto Joseph, Do not thy brethren feed [the flock] in Shechem? come, and I will send thee unto them. And they could not in three days expound the riddle. #, 07_JUD_14_16  And Samson's wife wept before him, and said, Thou dost but hate me, and lovest me not, thou hast put forth a riddle unto the children of my people, and hast not told [it] me. And he said unto her, Behold, I have not told [it] my father nor my mother, and shall I tell [it] thee? #, 07_JUD_14_18  And the men of the city said unto him on the seventh day before the sun went down, What [is] sweeter than honey? and what [is] stronger than a lion? And he said unto them, If ye had not plowed with my heifer, ye had not found out my riddle. #, 07_JUD_15_01  But it came to pass within a while after, in the time of wheat harvest, that Samson visited his wife with a kid; and he said, I will go in to my wife into the chamber. But her father would not suffer him to go in. #, 07_JUD_15_11  Then three thousand men of Judah went to the top of the rock Etam, and said to Samson, Knowest thou not that the Philistines [are] rulers over us? what [is] this [that] thou hast done unto us? And he said, What is there done, my son? #, 09_1SA_08_11  And he said, This will be the manner of the king that shall reign over you, He will take your sons, and appoint [them] for himself, for his chariots, and [to be] his horsemen; and [some] shall run before his chariots. #, 09_1SA_09_06  And he said unto him, Behold now, [there is] in this city a man of God, and [he is] an honourable man; all that he saith cometh surely to pass, now let us go thither; peradventure he can show us our way that we should go. #, 09_1SA_10_14  And Saul's uncle said unto him and to his servant, Whither went ye? And they answered, [He is] witness. #, 09_1SA_14_33  Then they told Saul, saying, Behold, the people sin against the LORD, in that they eat with the blood. And he said, Ye have transgressed, roll a great stone unto me this day. #, 09_1SA_15_16  Then Samuel said unto Saul, Stay, and I will tell thee what the LORD hath said to me this night. And he said unto him, Say on. #, 09_1SA_16_05  And he said, Peaceably, I am come to sacrifice unto the LORD, sanctify yourselves, and come with me to the sacrifice. And he sanctified Jesse and his sons, and called them to the sacrifice. #, 09_1SA_16_08  Then Jesse called Abinadab, and made him pass before Samuel. And he said, Neither hath the LORD chosen this. #, 09_1SA_16_09  Then Jesse made Shammah to pass by. And he said, Neither hath the LORD chosen this. #, 09_1SA_16_11  And Samuel said unto Jesse, Are here all [thy] children? And he said, There remaineth yet the youngest, and, behold, he keepeth the sheep. And Samuel said unto Jesse, Send and fetch him, for we will not sit down till he come hither. #, 09_1SA_17_28  And Eliab his eldest brother heard when he spake unto the men; and Eliab's anger was kindled against David, and he said, Why camest thou down hither? and with whom hast thou left those few sheep in the wilderness? And Amnon said unto him, I love Tamar, my brother Absalom's sister. #, 10_2SA_14_11  Then said she, I pray thee, let the king remember the LORD thy God, that thou wouldest not suffer the revengers of blood to destroy any more, lest they destroy my son. And he said, [As] the LORD liveth, there shall not one hair of thy son fall to the earth. #, 10_2SA_14_12  Then the woman said, Let thine handmaid, I pray thee, speak [one] word unto my lord the king. And he said, Say on. #, 10_2SA_15_02  And Absalom rose up early, and stood beside the way of the gate, and it was [so], that when any man that had a controversy came to the king for judgment, then Absalom called unto him, and said, Of what city [art] thou? And Jehoshaphat said to the king of Israel, I [am] as thou [art], my people as thy people, my horses as thy horses. #, 11_1KI_22_11  And Zedekiah the son of Chenaanah made him horns of iron, and he said, Thus saith the LORD, With these shalt thou push the Syrians, until thou have consumed them. #, 11_1KI_22_17  And he said, I saw all Israel scattered upon the hills, as sheep that have not a shepherd, and the LORD said, These have no master, let them return every man to his house in peace. #, 11_1KI_22_19  And he said, Hear thou therefore the word of the LORD, I saw the LORD sitting on his throne, and all the host of heaven standing by him on his right hand and on his left. #, 11_1KI_22_22  And the LORD said unto him, Wherewith? And he said, I will go forth, and I will be a lying spirit in the mouth of all his prophets. And he said, Thou shalt persuade [him], and prevail also, go forth, and do so. #, 11_1KI_22_28  And Micaiah said, If thou return at all in peace, the LORD hath not spoken by me. And he said, Yea, I know [it]; hold ye your peace. #, 12_2KI_02_04  And Elijah said unto him, Elisha, tarry here, I pray thee; for the LORD hath sent me to Jericho. And he said, [As] the LORD liveth, and [as] thy soul liveth, I will not leave thee. So they came to Jericho. #, 12_2KI_02_06  And Elijah said unto him, Tarry, I pray thee, here; for the LORD hath sent me to Jordan. And he said, [As] the LORD liveth, and [as] thy soul liveth, I will not leave thee. And they two went on. #, 12_2KI_02_10  And he said, Thou hast asked a hard thing, [nevertheless], if thou see me [when I am] taken from thee, it shall be so unto thee; but if not, it shall not be [so]. #, 12_2KI_02_16  And they said unto him, Behold now, there be with thy servants fifty strong men; let them go, we pray thee, and seek thy master, lest peradventure the spirit of the LORD hath taken him up, and cast him upon some mountain, or into some valley. And he said, Ye shall not send. #, 12_2KI_02_20  And he said, Bring me a new cruse, and put salt therein. And they brought [it] to him. #, 12_2KI_03_07  And he went and sent to Jehoshaphat the king of Judah, saying, The king of Moab hath rebelled against me, wilt thou go with me against Moab to battle? And he said, I will go up, I [am] as thou [art], my people as thy people, [and] my horses as thy horses. #, 12_2KI_03_08  And he said, Which way shall we go up? And he answered, The way through the wilderness of Edom. #, 12_2KI_03_16  And he said, Thus saith the LORD, Make this valley full of ditches. #, 12_2KI_04_06  And it came to pass, when the vessels were full, that she said unto her son, Bring me yet a vessel. And he said unto her, [There is] not a vessel more. And the oil stayed. #, 12_2KI_04_07  Then she came and told the man of God. And he said, Go, sell the oil, and pay thy debt, and live thou and thy children of the rest. #, 12_2KI_04_12  And he said to Gehazi his servant, Call this Shunammite. And when he had called her, she stood before him. #, 12_2KI_04_13  And he said unto him, Say now unto her, Behold, thou hast been careful for us with all this care; what [is] to be done for thee? wouldest thou be spoken for to the king, or to the captain of the host? And she answered, I dwell among mine own people. #, 12_2KI_04_14  And he said, What then [is] to be done for her? And Gehazi answered, Verily she hath no child, and her husband is old. #, 12_2KI_04_15  And he said, Call her. And when he had called her, she stood in the door. #, 12_2KI_04_16  And he said, About this season, according to the time of life, thou shalt embrace a son. And she said, Nay, my lord, [thou] man of God, do not lie unto thine handmaid. #, 12_2KI_04_19  And he said unto his father, My head, my head. And he said to a lad, Carry him to his mother. #, 12_2KI_04_23  And he said, Wherefore wilt thou go to him to day? [it is] neither new moon, nor sabbath. And she said, [It shall be] well. #, 12_2KI_04_38  And Elisha came again to Gilgal, and [there was] a dearth in the land; and the sons of the prophets [were] sitting before him, and he said unto his servant, Set on the great pot, and seethe pottage for the sons of the prophets. #, 12_2KI_04_41  But he said, Then bring meal. And he cast [it] into the pot; and he said, Pour out for the people, that they may eat. And there was no harm in the pot. #, 12_2KI_04_42  And there came a man from Baalshalisha, and brought the man of God bread of the firstfruits, twenty loaves of barley, and full ears of corn in the husk thereof. And he said, Give unto the people, that they may eat. #, 12_2KI_05_15  And he returned to the man of God, he and all his company, and came, and stood before him, and he said, Behold, now I know that [there is] no God in all the earth, but in Israel, now therefore, I pray thee, take a blessing of thy servant. #, 12_2KI_05_19  And he said unto him, Go in peace. So he departed from him a little way. #, 12_2KI_05_22  And he said, All [is] well. My master hath sent me, saying, Behold, even now there be come to me from mount Ephraim two young men of the sons of the prophets, give them, I pray thee, a talent of silver, and two changes of garments. #, 12_2KI_05_25  But he went in, and stood before his master. And Elisha said unto him, Whence [comest thou], Gehazi? And he said, Thy servant went no whither. #, 12_2KI_05_26  And he said unto him, Went not mine heart [with thee], when the man turned again from his chariot to meet thee? [Is it] a time to receive money, and to receive garments, and oliveyards, and vineyards, and sheep, and oxen, and menservants, and maidservants? #, 12_2KI_06_13  And he said, Go and spy where he [is], that I may send and fetch him.
