And Samuel said unto the men of Israel, Go ye every man unto his city. #, 09_1SA_09_23  And Samuel said unto the cook, Bring the portion which I gave thee, of which I said unto thee, Set it by thee. #, 09_1SA_09_24  And the cook took up the shoulder, and [that] which [was] upon it, and set [it] before Saul. And [Samuel] said, Behold that which is left! set [it] before thee, [and] eat, for unto this time hath it been kept for thee since I said, I have invited the people. So Saul did eat with Samuel that day. #, 09_1SA_10_24  And Samuel said to all the people, See ye him whom the LORD hath chosen, that [there is] none like him among all the people? And all the people shouted, and said, God save the king. #, 09_1SA_12_01  And Samuel said unto all Israel, Behold, I have hearkened unto your voice in all that ye said unto me, and have made a king over you. #, 09_1SA_12_06  And Samuel said unto the people, [It is] the LORD that advanced Moses and Aaron, and that brought your fathers up out of the land of Egypt. #, 09_1SA_12_20  And Samuel said unto the people, Fear not, ye have done all this wickedness, yet turn not aside from following the LORD, but serve the LORD with all your heart; #, 09_1SA_13_11  And Samuel said, What hast thou done? And Saul said, Because I saw that the people were scattered from me, and [that] thou camest not within the days appointed, and [that] the Philistines gathered themselves together at Michmash; #, 09_1SA_13_13  And Samuel said to Saul, Thou hast done foolishly, thou hast not kept the commandment of the LORD thy God, which he commanded thee, for now would the LORD have established thy kingdom upon Israel for ever. #, 09_1SA_15_14  And Samuel said, What [meaneth] then this bleating of the sheep in mine ears, and the lowing of the oxen which I hear? #, 09_1SA_15_17  And Samuel said, When thou [wast] little in thine own sight, [wast] thou not [made] the head of the tribes of Israel, and the LORD anointed thee king over Israel? #, 09_1SA_15_22  And Samuel said, Hath the LORD [as great] delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, as in obeying the voice of the LORD? Behold, to obey [is] better than sacrifice, [and] to hearken than the fat of rams. #, 09_1SA_15_26  And Samuel said unto Saul, I will not return with thee, for thou hast rejected the word of the LORD, and the LORD hath rejected thee from being king over Israel. #, 09_1SA_15_28  And Samuel said unto him, The LORD hath rent the kingdom of Israel from thee this day, and hath given it to a neighbour of thine, [that is] better than thou. #, 09_1SA_15_33  And Samuel said, As thy sword hath made women childless, so shall thy mother be childless among women. And Samuel hewed Agag in pieces before the LORD in Gilgal. #, 09_1SA_16_02  And Samuel said, How can I go? if Saul hear [it], he will kill me. And the LORD said, Take an heifer with thee, and say, I am come to sacrifice to the LORD. #, 09_1SA_16_10  Again, Jesse made seven of his sons to pass before Samuel. And Samuel said unto Jesse, The LORD hath not chosen these. #, 09_1SA_16_11  And Samuel said unto Jesse, Are here all [thy] children? And he said, There remaineth yet the youngest, and, behold, he keepeth the sheep. And Samuel said unto Jesse, Send and fetch him, for we will not sit down till he come hither. #, 09_1SA_28_15  And Samuel said to Saul, Why hast thou disquieted me, to bring me up? And Saul answered, I am sore distressed; for the Philistines make war against me, and God is departed from me, and answereth me no more, neither by prophets, nor by dreams, therefore I have called thee, that thou mayest make known unto me what I shall do. #,

Moreover the man Moses [was] very great in the land of Egypt, in the sight of Pharaoh's servants, and in the sight of the people. #, 02_EXO_11_09  And the LORD said unto Moses, Pharaoh shall not hearken unto you; that my wonders may be multiplied in the land of Egypt. #, 02_EXO_11_10  And Moses and Aaron did all these wonders before Pharaoh, and the LORD hardened Pharaoh's heart, so that he would not let the children of Israel go out of his land. #, 02_EXO_12_01  And the LORD spake unto Moses and Aaron in the land of Egypt, saying, #, 02_EXO_12_36  And the LORD gave the people favour in the sight of the Egyptians, so that they lent unto them [such things as they required]. And they spoiled the Egyptians. #, 02_EXO_12_43  And the LORD said unto Moses and Aaron, This [is] the ordinance of the passover, There shall no stranger eat thereof, #, 02_EXO_13_01  And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying, #, 02_EXO_13_21  And the LORD went before them by day in a pillar of a cloud, to lead them the way; and by night in a pillar of fire, to give them light; to go by day and night, #, 02_EXO_14_01  And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying, #, 02_EXO_14_08  And the LORD hardened the heart of Pharaoh king of Egypt, and he pursued after the children of Israel, and the children of Israel went out with an high hand. #, 02_EXO_14_15  And the LORD said unto Moses, Wherefore criest thou unto me? speak unto the children of Israel, that they go forward, #, 02_EXO_14_21  And Moses stretched out his hand over the sea; and the LORD caused the sea to go [back] by a strong east wind all that night, and made the sea dry [land], and the waters were divided. #, 02_EXO_14_26  And the LORD said unto Moses, Stretch out thine hand over the sea, that the waters may come again upon the Egyptians, upon their chariots, and upon their horsemen. #, 02_EXO_14_27  And Moses stretched forth his hand over the sea, and the sea returned to his strength when the morning appeared; and the Egyptians fled against it; and the LORD overthrew the Egyptians in the midst of the sea. #, 02_EXO_15_19  For the horse of Pharaoh went in with his chariots and with his horsemen into the sea, and the LORD brought again the waters of the sea upon them; but the children of Israel went on dry [land] in the midst of the sea. #, 02_EXO_15_25  And he cried unto the LORD; and the LORD showed him a tree, [which] when he had cast into the waters, the waters were made sweet, there he made for them a statute and an ordinance, and there he proved them, #, 02_EXO_16_11  And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying, #, 02_EXO_16_28  And the LORD said unto Moses, How long refuse ye to keep my commandments and my laws? #, 02_EXO_17_05  And the LORD said unto Moses, Go on before the people, and take with thee of the elders of Israel; and thy rod, wherewith thou smotest the river, take in thine hand, and go. #, 02_EXO_17_14  And the LORD said unto Moses, Write this [for] a memorial in a book, and rehearse [it] in the ears of Joshua, for I will utterly put out the remembrance of Amalek from under heaven. #, 02_EXO_19_03  And Moses went up unto God, and the LORD called unto him out of the mountain, saying, Thus shalt thou say to the house of Jacob, and tell the children of Israel; #, 02_EXO_19_09  And the LORD said unto Moses, Lo, I come unto thee in a thick cloud, that the people may hear when I speak with thee, and believe thee for ever. And the LORD said, Take an heifer with thee, and say, I am come to sacrifice to the LORD. #, 09_1SA_16_12  And he sent, and brought him in. Now he [was] ruddy, [and] withal of a beautiful countenance, and goodly to look to. And the LORD said, Arise, anoint him, for this [is] he. #, 09_1SA_16_18  Then answered one of the servants, and said, Behold, I have seen a son of Jesse the Bethlehemite, [that is] cunning in playing, and a mighty valiant man, and a man of war, and prudent in matters, and a comely person, and the LORD [is] with him. #, 09_1SA_17_37  David said moreover, The LORD that delivered me out of the paw of the lion, and out of the paw of the bear, he will deliver me out of the hand of this Philistine. And he said, I will go forth, and I will be a lying spirit in the mouth of all his prophets. And he said, Thou shalt persuade [him], and prevail also, go forth, and do so. #, 11_1KI_22_23  Now therefore, behold, the LORD hath put a lying spirit in the mouth of all these thy prophets, and the LORD hath spoken evil concerning thee. #, 12_2KI_04_27  And when she came to the man of God to the hill, she caught him by the feet, but Gehazi came near to thrust her away. And the LORD said unto him, Wherewith? #, 14_2CH_18_21  And he said, I will go out, and be a lying spirit in the mouth of all his prophets. And [the LORD] said, Thou shalt entice [him], and thou shalt also prevail, go out, and do [even] so. #, 14_2CH_18_22  Now therefore, behold, the LORD hath put a lying spirit in the mouth of these thy prophets, and the LORD hath spoken evil against thee. #, 14_2CH_18_31  And it came to pass, when the captains of the chariots saw Jehoshaphat, that they said, It [is] the king of Israel.
