And the LORD said, Take an heifer with thee, and say, I am come to sacrifice to the LORD. #, 09_1SA_16_12  And he sent, and brought him in. Now he [was] ruddy, [and] withal of a beautiful countenance, and goodly to look to. And the LORD said, Arise, anoint him, for this [is] he. #, 09_1SA_16_18  Then answered one of the servants, and said, Behold, I have seen a son of Jesse the Bethlehemite, [that is] cunning in playing, and a mighty valiant man, and a man of war, and prudent in matters, and a comely person, and the LORD [is] with him. #, 09_1SA_17_37  David said moreover, The LORD that delivered me out of the paw of the lion, and out of the paw of the bear, he will deliver me out of the hand of this Philistine. And he said, I will go forth, and I will be a lying spirit in the mouth of all his prophets. And he said, Thou shalt persuade [him], and prevail also, go forth, and do so. #, 11_1KI_22_23  Now therefore, behold, the LORD hath put a lying spirit in the mouth of all these thy prophets, and the LORD hath spoken evil concerning thee. #, 12_2KI_04_27  And when she came to the man of God to the hill, she caught him by the feet, but Gehazi came near to thrust her away. And the LORD said unto him, Wherewith? #, 14_2CH_18_21  And he said, I will go out, and be a lying spirit in the mouth of all his prophets. And [the LORD] said, Thou shalt entice [him], and thou shalt also prevail, go out, and do [even] so. #, 14_2CH_18_22  Now therefore, behold, the LORD hath put a lying spirit in the mouth of these thy prophets, and the LORD hath spoken evil against thee. #, 14_2CH_18_31  And it came to pass, when the captains of the chariots saw Jehoshaphat, that they said, It [is] the king of Israel.
