And he came unto him, and said unto him, There were two men in one city; the one rich, and the other poor. #, 10_2SA_13_04  And he said unto him, Why [art] thou, [being] the king's son, lean from day to day? wilt thou not tell me? And he said unto him, Go back again, for what have I done to thee? #, 11_1KI_20_02  And he sent messengers to Ahab king of Israel into the city, and said unto him, Thus saith Benhadad, #, 11_1KI_20_08  And all the elders and all the people said unto him, Hearken not [unto him], nor consent. #, 11_1KI_20_22  And the prophet came to the king of Israel, and said unto him, Go, strengthen thyself, and mark, and see what thou doest, for at the return of the year the king of Syria will come up against thee. #, 11_1KI_20_23  And the servants of the king of Syria said unto him, Their gods [are] gods of the hills; therefore they were stronger than we; but let us fight against them in the plain, and surely we shall be stronger than they. #, 11_1KI_20_31  And his servants said unto him, Behold now, we have heard that the kings of the house of Israel [are] merciful kings, let us, I pray thee, put sackcloth on our loins, and ropes upon our heads, and go out to the king of Israel, peradventure he will save thy life. #, 11_1KI_20_34  And [Benhadad] said unto him, The cities, which my father took from thy father, I will restore; and thou shalt make streets for thee in Damascus, as my father made in Samaria. Then [said Ahab], I will send thee away with this covenant. So he made a covenant with him, and sent him away. #, 11_1KI_20_40  And as thy servant was busy here and there, he was gone. And he answered him, Go, and prosper, for the LORD shall deliver [it] into the hand of the king. #, 11_1KI_22_16  And the king said unto him, How many times shall I adjure thee that thou tell me nothing but [that which is] true in the name of the LORD? #, 11_1KI_22_22  And the LORD said unto him, Wherewith? And he said, I will go forth, and I will be a lying spirit in the mouth of all his prophets. And he said, Thou shalt persuade [him], and prevail also, go forth, and do so. #, 12_2KI_01_06  And they said unto him, There came a man up to meet us, and said unto us, Go, turn again unto the king that sent you, and say unto him, Thus saith the LORD, [Is it] not because [there is] not a God in Israel, [that] thou sendest to inquire of Baalzebub the god of Ekron? therefore thou shalt not come down from that bed on which thou art gone up, but shalt surely die. #, 12_2KI_01_11  Again also he sent unto him another captain of fifty with his fifty. And he answered and said unto him, O man of God, thus hath the king said, Come down quickly. #, 12_2KI_01_13  And he sent again a captain of the third fifty with his fifty. And the third captain of fifty went up, and came and fell on his knees before Elijah, and besought him, and said unto him, O man of God, I pray thee, let my life, and the life of these fifty thy servants, be precious in thy sight. #, 12_2KI_01_16  And he said unto him, Thus saith the LORD, Forasmuch as thou hast sent messengers to inquire of Baalzebub the god of Ekron, [is it] not because [there is] no God in Israel to inquire of his word? therefore thou shalt not come down off that bed on which thou art gone up, but shalt surely die. #, 12_2KI_02_02  And Elijah said unto Elisha, Tarry here, I pray thee; for the LORD hath sent me to Bethel. And he answered, Yea, I know [it]; hold ye your peace. #, 12_2KI_02_06  And Elijah said unto him, Tarry, I pray thee, here; for the LORD hath sent me to Jordan. And he said, [As] the LORD liveth, and [as] thy soul liveth, I will not leave thee. And they two went on. #, 12_2KI_02_16  And they said unto him, Behold now, there be with thy servants fifty strong men; let them go, we pray thee, and seek thy master, lest peradventure the spirit of the LORD hath taken him up, and cast him upon some mountain, or into some valley.
