And he put his hand [upon it]_ and Elisha put his hands upon the king's hands. #, 12_2KI_13_14  Now Elisha was fallen sick of his sickness whereof he died. And Joash the king of Israel came down unto him, and wept over his face, and said, O my father, my father, the chariot of Israel, and the horsemen thereof. #, 12_2KI_13_07  Neither did he leave of the people to Jehoahaz but fifty horsemen, and ten chariots, and ten thousand footmen; for the king of Syria had destroyed them, and had made them like the dust by threshing. #, 12_2KI_13_04  And Jehoahaz besought the LORD, and the LORD hearkened unto him_ for he saw the oppression of Israel, because the king of Syria oppressed them. #, 12_2KI_09_27  But when Ahaziah the king of Judah saw [this], he fled by the way of the garden house. And Jehu followed after him, and said, Smite him also in the chariot. [And they did so] at the going up to Gur, which [is] by Ibleam. So he returned with shame of face to his own land. And when he was come into the house of his god, they that came forth of his own bowels slew him there with the sword. #, 14_2CH_32_11  Doth not Hezekiah persuade you to give over yourselves to die by famine and by thirst, saying, The LORD our God shall deliver us out of the hand of the king of Assyria? #, 14_2CH_32_07  Be strong and courageous, be not afraid nor dismayed for the king of Assyria, nor for all the multitude that [is] with him_ for [there be] more with us than with him_ #, 14_2CH_28_21  For Ahaz took away a portion [out] of the house of the LORD, and [out] of the house of the king, and of the princes, and gave [it] unto the king of Assyria_ but he helped him not. #, 14_2CH_28_05  Wherefore the LORD his God delivered him into the hand of the king of Syria; and they smote him, and carried away a great multitude of them captives, and brought [them] to Damascus. And he was also delivered into the hand of the king of Israel, who smote him with a great slaughter. #, 14_2CH_27_05  He fought also with the king of the Ammonites, and prevailed against them. And the children of Ammon gave him the same year an hundred talents of silver, and ten thousand measures of wheat, and ten thousand of barley.
