And he took [them]. And he said unto the king of Israel, Smite upon the ground. And he smote thrice, and stayed. #, 12_2KI_13_16  And he said to the king of Israel, Put thine hand upon the bow. And he put his hand [upon it]_ and Elisha put his hands upon the king's hands. #, 12_2KI_13_14  Now Elisha was fallen sick of his sickness whereof he died. And Joash the king of Israel came down unto him, and wept over his face, and said, O my father, my father, the chariot of Israel, and the horsemen thereof. #, 12_2KI_13_07  Neither did he leave of the people to Jehoahaz but fifty horsemen, and ten chariots, and ten thousand footmen; for the king of Syria had destroyed them, and had made them like the dust by threshing. #, 12_2KI_13_04  And Jehoahaz besought the LORD, and the LORD hearkened unto him_ for he saw the oppression of Israel, because the king of Syria oppressed them. #, 12_2KI_09_27  But when Ahaziah the king of Judah saw [this], he fled by the way of the garden house. And Jehu followed after him, and said, Smite him also in the chariot. [And they did so] at the going up to Gur, which [is] by Ibleam. And the king of Israel said unto him, Nay_ for the LORD hath called these three kings together, to deliver them into the hand of Moab. #, 12_2KI_03_12  And Jehoshaphat said, The word of the LORD is with him. So the king of Israel and Jehoshaphat and the king of Edom went down to him. #, 12_2KI_03_11  But Jehoshaphat said, [Is there] not here a prophet of the LORD, that we may inquire of the LORD by him? And one of the king of Israel's servants answered and said, Here [is] Elisha the son of Shaphat, which poured water on the hands of Elijah. #, 12_2KI_03_10  And the king of Israel said, Alas! that the LORD hath called these three kings together, to deliver them into the hand of Moab! #, 12_2KI_03_09  So the king of Israel went, and the king of Judah, and the king of Edom_ and they fetched a compass of seven days' journey_ and there was no water for the host, and for the cattle that followed them. #, 12_2KI_03_07  And he went and sent to Jehoshaphat the king of Judah, saying, The king of Moab hath rebelled against me_ wilt thou go with me against Moab to battle? So he returned with shame of face to his own land. And when he was come into the house of his god, they that came forth of his own bowels slew him there with the sword. #, 14_2CH_32_11  Doth not Hezekiah persuade you to give over yourselves to die by famine and by thirst, saying, The LORD our God shall deliver us out of the hand of the king of Assyria? #, 14_2CH_32_07  Be strong and courageous, be not afraid nor dismayed for the king of Assyria, nor for all the multitude that [is] with him_ for [there be] more with us than with him_ #, 14_2CH_28_21  For Ahaz took away a portion [out] of the house of the LORD, and [out] of the house of the king, and of the princes, and gave [it] unto the king of Assyria_ but he helped him not. #, 14_2CH_28_05  Wherefore the LORD his God delivered him into the hand of the king of Syria; and they smote him, and carried away a great multitude of them captives, and brought [them] to Damascus. And he was also delivered into the hand of the king of Israel, who smote him with a great slaughter. #, 14_2CH_27_05  He fought also with the king of the Ammonites, and prevailed against them. And the children of Ammon gave him the same year an hundred talents of silver, and ten thousand measures of wheat, and ten thousand of barley. Therefore they compassed about him to fight_ but Jehoshaphat cried out, and the LORD helped him; and God moved them [to depart] from him. #, 14_2CH_18_30  Now the king of Syria had commanded the captains of the chariots that [were] with him, saying, Fight ye not with small or great, save only with the king of Israel. #, 14_2CH_18_29  And the king of Israel said unto Jehoshaphat, I will disguise myself, and will go to the battle; but put thou on thy robes. So the king of Israel disguised himself; and they went to the battle. #, 14_2CH_18_28  So the king of Israel and Jehoshaphat the king of Judah went up to Ramothgilead. #, 14_2CH_18_25  Then the king of Israel said, Take ye Micaiah, and carry him back to Amon the governor of the city, and to Joash the king's son; #, 14_2CH_18_17  And the king of Israel said to Jehoshaphat, Did I not tell thee [that] he would not prophesy good unto me, but evil? #, 14_2CH_18_09  And the king of Israel and Jehoshaphat king of Judah sat either of them on his throne, clothed in [their] robes, and they sat in a void place at the entering in of the gate of Samaria; and all the prophets prophesied before them. #, 14_2CH_18_08  And the king of Israel called for one [of his] officers, and said, Fetch quickly Micaiah the son of Imla. #, 14_2CH_18_07  And the king of Israel said unto Jehoshaphat, [There is] yet one man, by whom we may inquire of the LORD_ but I hate him; for he never prophesied good unto me, but always evil_ the same [is] Micaiah the son of Imla.
